I do really appreciate the opportunity to make up an assignment like this. At the time it was due, I was really struggling to find a job, and the search was really taking a toll on my mental health. Just months and months of applications, interviews, and rejections. At some point, I missed the assignment altogether! But I'm getting all caught up now, landed a job AND I'm keeping up with my schoolwork! Gotta say, it is a little brutal doing both work and school, it's been a while since I had to juggle both at once. I'm managing, but... it's a lot!
Aside from that... Honestly, I haven't really been up to much besides work and school. I got to see my girlfriend over in Hong Kong just before Halloween, so that was nice! I only had enough time for a weekend trip, and the jetlag coming home was brutal, but of course any chance to see her is worth it; and it was her birthday weekend, so you know I had to make it happen. Standby flights and airline miles are wonderful, but they do nothing for jetlag I fear! In fact, why not - here's a photo of us from that trip!
